Description

This 1-1/4 x 3/4 x 1-1/4 in. Reducing Tee is made from 90/10 Copper Nickel (CuNi). Navy market, with a pressure rating of 400 lb. Conforms to NAVSEA Drawing 803-6397430.

Socket Weld Pipe Fittings are used to create connections in high temperature and high-pressure environments. Socket Weld Pipe Fittings consist of a smooth internal bore that must match the outside diameter of the connecting pipe, which is inserted and welded to create a secure leak-proof seal. Socket weld connections are popular in smaller sized fittings and are permanent.

A Reducing Connection is used to join components of different sizes. It is a fundamental component in fluid systems that require changes in pipe diameter, such as when branching off a main line or stepping down to a smaller size or piece of equipment. In marine and industrial applications, these connections are crucial for designing efficient pipe layouts to serve multiple purposes.

Advantages of Socket Weld Connections

  • Easy Installation
  • Leak-Proof
  • Cost Effective
  • Resistant to Loosening

Common Applications for CuNi Tees

  • Fire Systems
  • Bilge Systems
  • Cooling Systems

Applications of Reducing Connections

  • Linking Different Equipment
  • Changing Flow Rates and Pressure
  • Creating Branch Lines
