Description
Gate Valves are designed for regulating fluid flow by lifting a round or rectangular gate out of the path of the fluid. This 12 in. Pima Valve B112A Non-Rising Stem Gate Valve is made from Bronze with Bronze trim. It has a pressure rating of Class 150 with a Flanged connection. It is operated by a Handwheel.
This valve uses a flanged connection, featuring a flat circular plate with bolt holes. This connection allows for easy disassmbly for maintenance or replacement without the need to cut the pipe.
A Non-Rising Stem is a design feature where the Valve Stem does not move up or down when the actuator is turned. Instead, the wedge/gate/disc threads onto the stationary stem - moving up and down within the body of the valve. This feature is particularly useful in applications where space is limited and the valve assembly must be compact. Manufactured by Pima Valve.
