Gate Valves are designed for regulating fluid flow by lifting a round or rectangular gate out of the path of the fluid. This 2 in. Pima Valve B102E Outside Stem & Yoke (OSY) Gate Valve is made from Bronze with Monel trim. It has a pressure rating of Class 150 with a Flanged connection. It is operated by a Handwheel.
This valve uses a flanged connection, featuring a flat circular plate with bolt holes. This connection allows for easy disassmbly for maintenance or replacement without the need to cut the pipe.
Monel Trim indicates the internal components are comprised of a Monel alloy. Monel is an alloy of Nickel-Copper that is particularly resistant to corrosive environments.
An Outside Stem and Yoke (OS&Y) design is one where the handwheel and yoke are located outside the body of the Valve. This makes it easy to see whether the valve is open or closed. It also adds to longevity of the valve by keeping the stem threads outside the valve body. Manufactured by Pima Valve.
