Threaded Connections are achieved with tapered threads, which get tighter as they are screwed together. This connection creates a mechanical seal for the Valve.
The Quick Open Self-Close feature is a mechanism that allows the valve to be opened with minimal movement of the lever/handle. The Sefl-Close function is activated by a spring mechanism that will automatically close the valve when the lever/handle is released.
